Ben Affleck Confirms That The Flash Will Be His Final Batman Film

The LFash will be Ben Affleck's last Batman

Ben Affleck has said that The Flash will be his final outing as Batman. Beginning with Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016, Affleck takes over the character of Bruce Wayne in the DCEU. Ben Affleck’s announcement that his next performance as Batman in The Flash will be his final outing as the Caped Crusader comes as no surprise.

Of course, Affleck’s portrayal of Batman was controversial from the start, and it only became worse after Snyder’s dismal and violent take on the DCEU was shown in theaters. Later, Affleck reprised his role as Batman in Suicide Squad and then in Justice League and its extended Snyder Cut version. For a time, there was talk of Affleck starring in and directing his own Batman standalone film, but those plans fell through, and Robert Pattinson was cast as Bruce Wayne in Matt Reeves’ The Batman.
At the moment, it appeared that Affleck was done with Batman, but it was later revealed that he will be donning the cowl one last time, alongside fellow Batman actor Michael Keaton, in the multiverse-unleashing The Flash.
