Indiana Jones 5 Wraps Up Filming

Indiana Jones 5 Wraps up filming

This is very good news indeed! Filming on what has been dubbed the last film of the Indiana Jones franchise has ended after numerous delays (but never say never). Producer Frank Marshall commemorated the event by posting a photo of his new hat on Twitter and Instagram.
It’s not Indy’s favored form of hat, but it’ll suffice in an emergency.

Kept Under Wraps

There is currently very little information available about the plot of “Indiana Jones 5.” Jones will most certainly go pursuing some kind of artifact before it falls into the wrong hands, based on the past films in the franchise. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, as an archaeologist would presumably remark. The Apollo 11 moon landing and Roman soldiers are reported to play a role in the plot, and the production is said to be using a digitally de-aged Harrison Ford in some scenes, so perhaps we’ll get to see some of Indy’s off-screen exploits over the years.

With the picture currently in post-production, we’ll presumably learn more about where Mangold’s script, co-written with Jez and John-Henry Butterworth of “Edge of Tomorrow” fame, will lead the global traveller this time. With additions like Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Toby Jones, and Antonio Banderas joining the cast, fans of Dr. Henry “Indiana” Jones Jr. can’t wait to see what’s in store for his final chapter. Regardless of what happens, we’ll just have to wait patiently till the first promotional material is revealed.
