Jonah Hill will be playing Grateful Dead’s Jerry Garcia in an upcoming film. The legendary Garcia died August 9, 1995 in Lagunitas-Forest Knolls, CA. Scorsese is presently working on his next film, The Killers of the Flower Moon, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, and has set up the project at Apple.It will also be a reunion for the filmmaker and actor, who collaborated in The Wolf of Wall Street. Scorsese will produce the film under his Sikelia Productions, which has a first-look arrangement with Google. Hill will produce alongside Matt Dines under his Strong Baby brand.
