With $1.16 billion in worldwide box receipts, Spider-Man: No Way Home became Sony Pictures’ highest-grossing film of all time.
This surpasses the $1.13 billion global total of its predecessor, Spider-Man: Far From Home, which was released in 2019.
Through Tuesday, the Tom Holland/Zendaya/Benedict Cumberbatch drama has grossed $516.4 million domestically and $644.9 million internationally.
Overseas, the film grossed $28.4 million on Tuesday, down just 5.6 percent from Monday’s $30.1 million. Spider-Man: No Way Home is now the top film of the year overseas for all Hollywood releases, surpassing No Time To Die, which was already the top film of 2021 when it surpassed $1 billion last weekend.
